Cosmetic or structural, your car leaves here looking right
Our story
A Stockton body shop that treats your car like its own
Hernandez Auto Body is a family-run shop on East Jefferson Street in south Stockton. Raul Hernandez runs the floor himself: he looks at the damage with you, explains what the repair actually involves, and keeps you updated by call or text while your vehicle is in the shop. We handle the cosmetic and the structural: bumpers, panels, paint, and the damage under the hood that shows up after a hard impact. Customers come to us after hit-and-runs, parking lot bumps, and everything in between, and a good share of them come back a second and third time. Cars leave here washed, and often waxed and detailed, because how the car looks when you pick it up is part of the job.
- Owner Raul Hernandez personally handles every repair
- Cosmetic and structural collision damage

What customers say
“From start to finish Raul took every phone call and responded to every text message I had, he updated me every step of the way. I knew my car was in the right hands. He not only did what he needed to do to fix my car but did extra things that my car was unrecognizable. When I went to pick up my finished repaired car, I was in utter shock and cried happy tears because the work he did on my car plus the extra miles he went, was enough to cause happy tears that I got my car better than I left it.”
“I've gone to Hernandez Auto on 3 separate occasions and have always received exceptional service. Raul is consistently professional and knowledgeable. Him and his team are outstanding and Raul is always in contact with me regarding any updates while my vehicle is in his shop. After each visit they've always given my car an excellent wash as well. If you desire quality work on your vehicle, this is your place!”
“Owner Raul Hernandez was absolutely professional, kind, a genuine person and honest. I took my car in because I had someone bump my car in the back bumper. Mr. Hernandez came out and took a look at it and took care of the problem, very nice and kind people. His son RJ does an amazing job at tinting windows. If there were more stars that I could light up, I would put more than five stars.”
